Every year in November, the Blossom team conducts an educational intervention in a school in Muscat. Our interactive sessions aim to raise awareness among students and teachers about the importance of a healthy and balanced diet.
Education for a healthy life begins at an early age. Our two-hour interventions, adapted for children, are highly successful: they sensitize students to health principles and the importance of properly meeting their nutritional needs.
During our November 2024 intervention, Myriam explained to the children the effects of processed foods high in sugar and salt, such as chips, sodas, and candies. These products are attractive due to their taste and presentation, but are harmful on several levels: fatigue, hyperactivity, difficulty concentrating, and even long-term diseases. They can create a dependency that alters children's overall well-being.
BLOSSOM's intervention has two objectives:
- Raising health awareness: teaching children to listen to their bodies and understand their needs to stay healthy.
- Raising awareness about living foods: showing that natural, fresh, and nutritious foods are sources of energy and well-being.
BLOSSOM's intervention, rich in exchanges and discoveries, positively impacted the schoolchildren and teachers. Our commitment to a healthy life is rewarded!
